Our mission is to create sustainable value for our stakeholders: clients, employees, local communities and shareholders.

Building trust, safeguarding wealth

We believe that responsible investing and good corporate practice contribute to building trust and confidence in the markets.
We have always strived to enhance transparency, accountability and disclosure throughout our organization.

These beliefs led Pioneer Investments to become a signatory to the United Nation Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI) in March 2009.

As part of the commitment to the UNPRI, Pioneer Investments has developed and implemented a policy with regard to companies involved in the production of controversial weapons banned under the UN Convention on Cluster Munitions and the Convention on Anti-Personnel Mines: Policy on Anti-Personnel Mines and Cluster Munitions.

At Pioneer Investments, our activities rely on knowledge, knowledge of the markets and knowledge of client needs – we recognize the value of knowledge and the opportunities it brings. We believe that all children should be given the opportunities that an education/knowledge can bring. Pioneer Investments and its associates are actively involved in initiatives that support the education, build the knowledge and, a prerequisite to learning, promote the good health of children living around the world.

At corporate level Pioneer Investments supports the “Spagnolli-Bazzoni Onlus”

The “Spagnolli-Bazzoni Onlus” is the result of a merger between the Roberto Bazzoni Onlus (RBO) and the “Association of Friends of Senator Giovanni Spagnolli”. RBO, a charitable non-profit association, officially registered on 17 March 2000, was founded in memory of Roberto Bazzoni. Roberto, the eldest son of Sebastiano Bazzoni, one of Pioneer Investments’ Directors, was engaged in humanitarian missions. On November 12th 1999, Roberto was flying to Kosovo as part team of 21 people when their plane, carrying a total of 24 passengers, crashed near Pristina, leaving no survivors. A group of friends decided to honour Roberto’s memory by continuing his mission. The RBO was therefore set up in 2000 and its main projects were based in Kosovo, Kazakhstan, Zimbabwe and DR Congo.

On 26 May 2011, RBO merged with the “Association of Friends of Senator Giovanni Spagnolli”, a charity and a “volunteers’ association” founded in December 2000, specialized in fund raising and supported Dr. Carlo Spagnolli’s activities in Africa. The resulting charitable organisation was named Spagnolli-Bazzoni Onlus.
